We work closely with our training partners up and down the country to provide effective and engaging learning solutions for more than 6,500 post-16 students every year.
As part of Pearson, the world's largest learning company, we're passionate about education and equipping learners with the skills they need to secure their dream job.
And we can draw on an unrivalled range of publications and resources when designing and implementing each of our training strategies and curriculum programmes.
Proven success in A-level education
We’ve already improved success rates for our A-level learners at a number of institutions up and down the UK.
At Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College, we deliver STEM A-level education to around 320 sixth-formers every year. Our college is ranked in the top 1% of the UK’s 1,100 A-level schools and colleges.
All of our Ministry of Defence sixth-formers go on to continue their
education at university and in 2016 our students achieved a 99% pass rate at A level, of which 34% were A* and A grades.
Meanwhile, at the Army Foundation College, we deliver Functional Skills to L2, Leadership Initiative Training, Physical Education and library services to 1,600 Junior Soldiers every year.
With experience providing engaging course content to large numbers of students at different types of institutions, we're perfectly placed to help your educational institution meet its objectives and curriculum targets.
Wide range of apprenticeships
Our apprenticeships cover a range of levels and frameworks to give students a solid grounding in both practical and functional skills.
Students could receive training in DVLA driver theory before going on to study essentials such as English, maths and ICT, for example, as well as STEM-focused A-level qualifications.
And because we know that it’s just as important for learners to develop personally as well as academically, we offer students the chance to get involved with outdoor and physical education.
We’re constantly striving to find new ways to bring course material to life for learners, such as through immersive learning technology like 360-degree virtual reality video and augmented reality 3D holograms.
We can manage the design and delivery of your post-16 education to create certified educational courses and programmes that will give students a strong understanding of the knowledge they will need for success in their future career.
To make sure our educational course content is tailored closely to the career needs of your students, we'll carry out detailed consultations and put together a curriculum that leads to improved learner outcomes.
